Welcome to the 2007 Versailles Olde Tyme Apple Festival. We will be bringing back a lot of your favorites along with new and fun things for all ages alike!
The parade will be as big as ever, filled with clowns, floats, bands, horses, classic cars, candy and much, much more!
You won't want to miss the production at the Royal Theater. There are many talented actors from our local community to bring you this exciting production of "Meet Me In St. Louis" a delightful, classic, nostalgic, poignant, and romanticized musical play - one of the greatest musicals ever made
Jay Fisher and Todd Forman will be lining up entertainment on the area stages, everything from gospel to country to jazz.
The Fiddlers Contest will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday inside the Royal Theater. This event brings a packed house for some fabulous talent.
We are expecting well over 400 booths again this year with something for everyone. The Fun Zone will be returning for the kids, and about everything you want to eat from turkey drumsticks to kettle corn to cotton candy will be available.
Friday evening will be the annual car cruise and sock hop at the Sonic Drive-In. This event, along with the car and motorcycle show in the city park on Saturday, is growing larger every year with cars and motorcycles coming from all over.
So, come on out!! Saturday, October 6, 2007 is the big day! Come early and stay late. The welcome mat will be rolled out!!
